What about orders shipping of out the local area of DMV/Washington D.C.?
At the moment, we can only fulfill orders requesting out of state shipping after August 1, 2016. All local orders can be fulfilled immediately.
What if we get an incorrect address?
If we ship a care package to an incorrect address then it will be returned to us. We do not always get a notification to tell us that there is a problem delivering the package and we often do not find out there is a problem until the package is returned. In these rare instances, we ask for your patience and promise in return to do everything in our power to make sure your care package arrives in condition and as soon. If you realize you may have put an incorrect address, please contact us as quickly as possible here.
Are your delivery times guaranteed?
Yes! Shipments are guaranteed to your preference. If our delivery partner misses the delivery then we will refund the shipping. Please know that if the recipient is not home and was unable to deliver the package, this does not qualify as missing the delivery. Also, circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters and so forth void the delivery guarantee. We run over 99% on time so trouble with shipping is a rare occurrence.
What if this care package is going to a college?
If a care package is being shipped to a college, then likely the Campus Mail Room, regardless of complete addresses with door numbers. For local orders in Washington DC area, packages will first go to exact address prior to mail room. This is a security measure most colleges put in place to ensure the safety of their staff and students.
Can I send a package internationally?
Unfortunately, not at this moment.
Do recipients have to be present to receive their packages?
For everything else, it is up to the discretion of the individual delivery driver. If the package can be safely left then they are to do so, that way the recipient will receive their care package on the day it was intended. If they cannot leave the package in a secure location (door man building) the driver will have to come back later, often the next day.
Substitution Policy
For a variety of reasons, we will occasionally run out of a specific item. While this does not occur often, we reserve the right to substitute the unavailable item for a different one of equal or greater value.
